The Dogo Argentino was initially bred in Argentina for hunting. Aside from this, they have been used as guide dogs for the blind and the police. The dog breed is currently banned in six countries for its aggression. There are stories of trained Dogo Argentinos who have turned without any warning whatsoever. It is not surprising to hear that insurance companies are not big fans.

Tosa Inu

Originally from Japan, this dog breed was initially bred to be a fighting dog. The Tosa Inu is a rare and exotic breed of dog that can weigh anywhere from 130 to 200 pounds and grow as high as 24.5 to 32 inches. These huge dogs are considered dangerous and have been restricted in a number of countries all over the world. Knowing all of these things, this breed might not make for the most family-friendly dog.
