While she had a pretty short career, she made it big thanks to her beauty and elegance. She had to give up acting after being a part of the Monegasque royal family. Instead, she chose to focus on philanthropy and art promotion. Sadly, she died in a horrible car crash after suffering a stroke while behind the wheel. Just take a look at the success that she earned when she made her debut in Roman Holiday opposite Gregory Peck. It granted her a Golden Globe, a BAFTA, and an Academy Award! Aside from her career as an actress, she was also very devoted to humanitarian work and philanthropy. In 1993, this amazing human being died after suffering from a rare type of abdominal cancer.
