Willing To Get Lost
Even though Knight wanted to totally get lost in the woods, he eventually settled down somewhere fitting. It was essentially a game of trial and error. The journey kept going for several months until he had enough places that could work as his place of residence. It was there that he set up his items he had with him from the very beginning. However, there was something else that was bothering him. It seemed like these concerns that he could not run away from no matter how hard he tried.

It did not take long before he realized that he would not be able to survive with just the things he had on him. The realization did not come at a good time because he was already experiencing terrible hunger pangs. The woods of Maine might have been vast but there was very little to eat there. The supply of edible plants did not last for a very long time. Perhaps he would have fared better if he fished or hunted, but he did not.
