If there’s one more thing Parton is known for, apart from her voice and wigs, it’s her numerous cosmetic surgeries. Ones she has openly admitted to having. She has even said, “It takes a lot of money to look this cheap.” In an interview with The Guardian, Parton explained, “This is just who I am! I may look fake, but I’m real where it counts.” From nips and tucks, Parton has undergone breast implants, a brow lift, eyelid surgery, a face lift, chin augmentation, and rhinoplasty (a nose job).

Numerous times Playboy magazine approached the country music star to pose nude, however she rejected each offer they gave her. Finally in October 1978, she accepted but under one condition, she would not pose nude. They agreed and Parton featured wearing a bunny costume making her the first ever country singer to pose for Playboy‘s cover. Years later, she spoke of the whole experience, “It was just a fun thing to do…Another way I was trying to market myself, at that time, to get in the mainstream.”
