The Czechoslovakian Wolfdog has its origins in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. One of these will set you back by $1,500. It is famous for its yellow-grey and silver-grey coat. Its lineage dates back to 1955, when the CSSR Breed Association created it as an experiment. Even though it looks just like a wolf, it is a friendly and cheerful dog breed. On top of that, it is fearless. This makes sense since it was the result of a cross between guard dogs and wolves. This is a rare breed with only 340 officially registered dogs.

St. Bernard
Hailing from the Swiss and Italian Alps, the St. Bernard dog breed goes for $1,800 on average. It is now known as a gigantic working dog that can grow as high as 35 inches and as heavy as 260 pounds. At first, it was bred to be a rescue dog that can help the people who get stuck in the snow at the Italian-Swiss border. If you were wondering about its name, it comes from a monk called Bernard of Menthon, its breeder. In 1660, he had been the first person to breed these rescue dogs.
