Caucasian Ovcharka
The Caucasian Ovcharka hails from Georgia and costs $2,000 on average. It was bred as a working dog for the Soviet Union. They chose it after considering several Shepherd Dog breeds from Georgia and Azerbaijan. Its other names would be the Caucasian Shepherd Dog, the Nagazi, and the Caucasian Mountain Dog. This dog breed originally lived in the Caucasus mountains and guarded the livestock a long time ago. They are huge dogs as proven by the fact that the male ones can weigh as much as 220 pounds, while the female ones can weigh as much as 180 pounds.
Bouvier des Flandres
The Bouvier des Flandres come from Northern Belgium and also costs as much as $2,000. This dog breed has historically been used for tasks on the farm such as sheep herding, cattle roving, and cart pulling. These days, however, it is often used by the European police as a guard and police dog. This is an interesting choice since Americans prefer Belgian the Malinois or German Shepherd for the same job. While this dog is aloof around strangers, it is not aggressive. It actually makes for a good family dog!
