Queen’s  Nickname

Gammy, Nona, Grandma — people have more names than we can count for their grandparents. While most of the Queen’s grandchildren lovingly name her Granny, two exceptions seem to be discovered. William could not quite pronounce “Granny” when he was still rather young —and Lizzie had another nickname from him, which is “Gary.” In the footsteps of William, Kate Middleton said her son, George, called the Queen with the cute “Gan Gan” nickname.

A Happy Tradition

Everyone has this “birthday week” buddy, and the Queen is taking the opportunity twice a year to celebrate her birthday. It’s only another bonus of being the leader.
