Sara Tucholsky is a Western Oregon University softball player who had hit her first-ever home run. You can imagine how excited she was. Since she was so overwhelmed, she missed first base and when she went back to touch it, she tore a ligament in her knee. Players from the opposing team picked her up and carried her around the other bases to the home plate.

Paolo Di Canio was an Italian soccer player. He was known to be somewhat of a hothead at times. However, while playing for Premier League club West Ham United, he made headlines – for doing the right thing. He caught the ball during a tied game to signal to officials that the opposing keeper was on the ground, injured outside his box.
