2017: Lady Gaga
For the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show, Mother Monster made her entrance using mile-high cables. If that did not impress you, we bet her renditions of “God Bless America” and “This Land Is Your Land” did! Much to everyone’s delight, Lady Gaga also performed “Telephone”, “Just Dance”, and “Born This Way”.

2015: Left Shark
No matter what you have to say, Left Shark was a hit among the Super Bowl XLIX audience members. Although Katy Perry appeared on stage as well, it was Left Shark who stole the show. Hamish Hamilton, Halftime show director, explained it to EW: ” I don’t think anybody on the team had any idea that Left Shark was going to become such a cultural phenomenon. We were trying to work out how we could bring a beach scene to life.”
