Adding hydrogen peroxide to your humidifier can not only help to clean the humidifier, but it can also help to eliminate bacteria in the air of your home. Add one part 3% hydrogen peroxide to eight parts water, then pour the solution into your humidifier. To make the smell a bit nicer, you can add a few drops of essential oils. If you have pets, you may not want to use this method.

Touch Up Your Roots
If you dye your hair blonde, you can fix your outgrown roots at home instead of spending time and money at the salon. Simply dab some 3% hydrogen peroxide onto your roots and let it sit for 30 minutes- or less if it starts to sting. This will lighten your roots back to where you want them to be.
