Get Rid Of Carpet Stains
Did you know that one of the ingredients most commonly found in store-bought carpet cleaners is hydrogen peroxide? That’s why the names of cleaners often have “Oxi” or “Oxy” in them. Be sure to use five parts water to one part 3% hydrogen peroxide. After spraying the mixture let it sit for a few minutes before scrubbing it out. If you’re not sure how it will react with your carpet, test it on a small area in the corner first.
Kill Mold
Mold can be extremely harmful to people, especially those with allergies or respiratory problems. It is super important to kill mold as soon as you notice it, and if you want to do so without using a ton of harsh chemicals in your house, you can fill a spray bottle with 3% hydrogen peroxide, spray it on the affected areas, let it sit for ten minutes. After you’ve let it sit, scrub the area to get rid of any remnants of mold that are still there.
