Clean A Mouthguard Or Retainer
Keeping your plastic retainer clean can be difficult, but it will be made much simpler with hydrogen peroxide, water, and baking soda. Place your retainer in a bowl of water, then add in a sprinkling of baking soda along with a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. After soaking it for 10 minutes, take it out and rinse it off entirely. Make sure all of the cleaning mixture is gone before putting it back in your mouth.
Clean The Dishwasher
When your dishwasher works properly and gets your dishes clean, they can be a real life-saver; if the dishwasher is dirty and not working well, it can just add more stress to your day. Next time you run the dishwasher, add 1/4 cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide to the soap. Not only will the hydrogen peroxide disinfect the walls of the dishwasher itself, but it will also add more power to the detergent on your dishes.
