Clean The Humidifier
Bacteria tend to thrive in warm, wet places, which means that a humidifier can be a breeding ground for it. To clean your humidifier, mix two cups of 3% hydrogen peroxide with an entire gallon of water. Pour the mixture into the filter of the humidifier then scrub it and let it sit for up to an hour before rinsing it off and cleaning it out.
Spot-Treat Acne
Hydrogen peroxide can kill bacteria on your face, which can sometimes help cure acne more quickly than some other treatments. Make sure to not use this treatment on acne scars, though, because it can actually cause more damage to your skin. To use this spot treatment, soak a cotton ball in 3% hydrogen peroxide and place it on desired areas, then let it sit for five minutes; afterward, rinse your face with cold water. Don’t do this more than three times per week, and always wash your face properly before doing it.
