Get Rid Of Bad Breath
Since hydrogen peroxide kills bacteria, it can also help eliminate the bacteria that causes bad breath and sore throats when you gargle it. Mix one part 3% hydrogen peroxide with two parts water. This will dilute the hydrogen peroxide to 1% instead of 3%. Gargle the mixture for 30-60 seconds and spit it out, making sure to rinse your mouth after. Be sure to not swallow it, either.
Clean Contact Lenses
Letting your contact lenses go for a while without cleaning them can lead to eye infections, which no one wants. Cleaning your contacts with hydrogen peroxide will get them sanitized, but you will also need to use a neutralizer so they don’t sting your eyes. Soak your contacts in 3% hydrogen peroxide for a few minutes, then let them sit in a neutralizer for a few hours.
