Squatters
One of the rooms housed a fireplace that definitely looks worse for the wear. In the 2014 YouTube video, the two men looking around the mansion found the fireplace looking like it had been used recently. This gives credit to the belief that squatters have been occupying the house since it was abandoned in 2009. The fireplace was situated in the middle of a wall covered with floor to ceiling glass that’s now grimy.

The video continued to show the two men touring around the property where they also find remnants of luxury that once blanketed the house. An old television set, some chairs, and a couple of cushions were the only items in the dining room. In other rooms, there were pieces of furniture haphazardly scattered such as a bright green couch. Some areas of the house had huge portions of the ceiling gone.
