It was getting increasingly hard for the couple to finance the upkeep of the whole property resulting in its eventual shutdown. After the hotel closed down, the mansion was soon forgotten.

Nowadays, the glory days seem to be so far behind. However, a recent video has cropped up and gave a peek at what was behind closed doors. It tickled the viewers into imagining what it must have been like to live there when the mansion was at its peak. Of course, the video revealed the current condition of the house as well as the current problems surrounding it. At the moment, Gillan’s former home is just a shadow of its former grandeur and what must be enormous expenses for simply maintaining it. But how were people able to access the property to record it?
