Its History

Now, let’s peek into a little bit of the mansion’s history. It was originally built in 1925, during the time that the Spanish Colonial Revival architecture was starting to gain popularity. Some of the notable elements of this architectural style are terracotta, flat roofs, and smooth plastered walls. However, between 1944 and 1953, the mansion underwent a renovation and was redesigned by John Elgin Woolf following a French Louis XV style.
