In December, the couple released their very first Christmas card with Archie. It got negative attention because they accused Meghan of manipulating the image. People claimed that she sharpened her face to stand out from the rest of the photo. She denied these claims but Janina Gavankar, her friend who took it, posted the original photo. She said, “Here’s the original that was sent out (cropped to fit IG.) And to The Mail, I see your campaign against my friend continues. Nice photoshop of my non-photoshopped image. Now may we all get back to the spirit of Christmas and not the spirit of maliciousness.”

January 7th, 2020 – Denial Of Major Announcements
In Canada House, London, the royal couple was able to thank the high commission for their holiday in Canada. They talked about the “warm hospitality” they enjoyed on the Christmas break. They got back to the U.K. with huge smiles and relaxed demeanors. A Vanity Fair journalist asked their PR team if their holiday was a “prequel” to their future decisions. They said that there is no major announcement coming up, which is why their ultimate plan is that much more mystifying.
