Apparently, not everyone is angry at the decision of the Duke and Duchess. Many celebrities have stepped up to support them in their decision. After all, they rub shoulders with many popular stars. Actress Tiffany Haddish stood up for the couple when she appeared on Watch What Happens Live by saying, “I think they’re wonderful, and whatever the decision is, we have to respect it.” In reference to Meghan, the comedian also said, “She’s really gorgeously humble and caring. That’s how we do it in South Central LA, baby! She come from them Baldwin Hills!”

It came as a shock when Thomas Markle, Meghan’s dad, launched an attack on the couple. He said, “When they got married they took on an obligation, and the obligation is to be part of the Royals and to represent the Royals. And it would be foolish for them not to.” He went on, “This is one of the greatest long-living institutions ever. They are destroying it, they are cheapening it, making it shabby… they shouldn’t be doing this.” These harsh words shocked the public, and probably Harry and Meghan as well. It is believed that they have not spoken with him even prior to the royal wedding.
