Bryant Reeves

Bryant Reeves, also called “Big Country,” is the de facto ambassador of the now-defunct Vancouver Grizzlies. This Oklahoma State alumnus had great touch and a massive physique. He never went on to become an elite player, however. Still, both Vancouver and Memphis fans appreciated him. How did he fare after the end of his career? He disappeared into obscurity and found himself in a small Oklahoman city where he owns a cattle ranch spanning 300 acres. If you ever find yourself in Stillwater, make sure to be on the lookout for him! His son Trey is a senior forward on the basketball team of Oklahoma State.

Jerry Stackhouse

Jerry Stackhouse had an impressive career during his time in the NBA. He had an average of 29.8 PPG when he played for the Pistons in the 2000-2001 season. For such a big guard, he had great footwork. He had no issues tackling the rim off the bounce either. He managed to score over 20 points per contest on 5 different occasions. After his NBA career, he went on to be a commentator and then an assistant coach for the Raptors. He got to coach the Raptors’ G-League team too. He seemed to enjoy developing young players, so it was a good fit for him. He also worked as an assistant head coach for the Grizzlies. In 2019, he was named as the head coach of Vanderbilt.
