The firefighters had to make a tough decision. They had to choose either to leave the babies there, with the hope that the mother would return and get her babies out herself, or take them out themselves since they could not see the mother. They knew for sure that the babies could not get out by themselves. At this point, the team knew they had to find out what kind of animal these babies were.

Since the team had no idea what kind of animals was trapped, they knew they needed to get them out to find out. If they were dealing with domestic animals, then these babies needed some serious help. However, if they were wild animals, they wouldn’t be this desperate.
