The rescuers made sure to wear gloves so that they could avoid getting their scent on the babies. The firefighters laid out some sheet by the sewer to put the babies there when they were out. This would also keep the little ones safe.

A firefighter slowly reached down in the sewer and picked up the first animal carefully. The team was shocked when they first saw the animal since it was really small. Once the animal was placed on the sheet, it rolled around innocently.
