Stalingrad (1993)

First and foremost, we’d like to point out that there are two films with the same title. Instead of the 2013 Russian propaganda film, we want you to think about the German film from 1993, which has been called “one of the most accurate war pictures ever.” It depicted the point of view of soldiers who were unable to complete their mission to conquer the namesake Soviet city. The film did not hold back in depicting brutal scenes of bodies and soldiers in disarray. Many individuals commended Germany for portraying the losing side of the conflict.

Lone Survivor (2013)

The film Lone Survivor was based on the same-named novel. You will learn about the story of four Navy SEALs who were stationed in Afghanistan if you watch the movie. The SEALs faced a life-or-death situation after the Taliban attacked. Even if it appears to be dramatized, keep in mind that everything in the film actually happened. To get away from the gunfire, they had to descend to cliffs, and Mike Murphy offered his life. Even the bit about Marcus Luttrell being assisted by sympathetic people was genuine!
