Jocelyn had been informed by the doctor that they required her consent in order to discontinue the current course of treatment. Nothing was helping Jasper, he said, and nothing was working. They needed her consent to halt everything because she was his primary caregiver. She wasn’t quite certain she could agree completely, though.
