While that is the amount for the British version of the book, American editions can also be worth a lot. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone – the American version – can be worth up to $6,500 if it has the print line “1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2 8 9/9 0/0 01 02” on the copyright page.
