Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl – No Red Coats Yet
In the 2003 movie Pirates of the Caribbean: the Curse of the Black Pearl, soldiers wear red coats. They were supposedly from the British Empire. However, these British uniforms were only issued in 1747. This film is set around the 1720s, so despite being only a couple of years off, these uniforms were still not accurate historically.
