Lyndon Johnson

After the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963, Lyndon Johnson became President. It’s shown below less than a week after JFK’s death. The following year, he won his own four-year presidential term. Johnson seems to be more weathered in this image of July 1968. His term ended in 1969 and he didn’t run for a second. He died from a heart attack in 1972.
