Many argue the success of Kamikaze suicide missions with the percentage ranging between 4% to 19% rate of success. Whether or not these pilots always achieved their goals of destroying American naval vessels, they played a big part in psychological warfare during World War II. The Americans managed to shoot down this Kamikaze plane only moments before it attacked.
