Tepper then proceeds to enter a suite named “Temple”. He noticed a sign saying that the room had a smoking restriction. The smoking ban seems more probable to be part of the hotel’s policy instead of Gillan’s personal preference. Although all these are mere guesses, the Deep Purple vocalist has certainly been seen with a cigarette before.

The video goes deeper into the room. A beam of light shines on a couple of mattresses on the floor. Tepper claims, “You can worship the god of mold in here.” Due to the degree of decay, the original color of the carpet was tough to decipher. It could have been lime green with some purples. The deterioration of the carpets is another reminder of how cruel time can be.
