When Meghan was still carrying the baby, the couple ended their residency at Kensington Palace. They decided to move to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. The cottage renovations were estimated to have cost more than $3 million of taxpayer’s money, which did not do the public’s reception of them any favors. At the time, rumors were beginning to emerge about a feud between Harry and William. All the negative publicity took a toll on Harry and Meghan, which must be the reason they hired an American PR agent by the name of Sara Latham. With clients like Hilary Clinton, she is definitely qualified for the job.

It is not new for a royal family member to open an Instagram account, but Harry and Meghan had a different approach to using it. They decided to take full rein of what would get posted under their Instagram handle, @sussexroyal, and even write the captions by themselves. They choose images the public has never seen before, and they are allegedly handpicked by Duke and Duchess. Unlike other royals, they decided to become more vulnerable to scrutiny and criticism by foregoing a mediator.
