Dr. Strangelove
We might as well mention Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying About the Bomb since we’ve mentioned other Kubrick works. This black political comedy was definitely ahead of its time when it first came out. We bet the innovative lack of script helped it reach the level of success it did. The crew actually made this decision because they wanted to see creative input from the actors. It worked— even the Nazi salute Sellers does was an impromptu move.

Zoolander
No one else could have given the main character in Zoolander the same treatment that Ben Stiller did. It was such an iconic part and the actor seemed like he knew exactly who his character was. It also showed in the graveyard scene shared by his character and the hand model. As David Duchovny gave a speech about male models becoming assassins, Ben Stiller mistakenly asked for an explanation exactly after he was given one! It was completely in character so it was a good thing that Duchovny was able to play along with him.
