LARRY STORCH, 95 YEARS OLD
Known for his comedian career, Larry Storch is also a seasoned actor and voice artist. During the 1940’s he was featured in multiple films and shows as an actor or voice artist. He also made appearances in a few variety shows, like Sonny and Cher and Playboy After Dark. After earning his fame in Hollywood, he returned to New York to work as a stage performer again.
HUGH DOWNS, 97 YEARS OLD
Though now happily retired, Downs made his career by being a broadcaster, TV host, news anchor, TV producer, and author. Clearly he is a man of many talents; he is best known for his roles on NBC’s Today in the 1960’s and 70’s. He served in the US Army during World War II, after which he decided to join the NBC radio. Downs was also a composer and hosted the PBS showcase for classical music from 1990 to 1996. Throughout his well-achieved career, he has done several works in film, such as A Global Affair and Nothing By Chance.
