In 2000, Vladimir Putin was elected president of Russia. He was shown below a few months after entering the office. Putin was Russia’s prime minister from 2008-2012 and became president again in 2012. He has been re-elected in 2018 and is currently serving.

Jacinda Ardern
New Zealand’s prime minister, Jacinda Ardern, is still relatively new to the world scene but has made headlines late for having a baby while in office and for responding to the 2019 mosque shootings in her country. In October 2017, Jacinda Ardern, the youngest female world leader ever, was elected Prime Minister.
